About Daniel Warmenhoven
Warmenhoven brings decades of storage industry experience to the Cohesity board. He served as the CEO of NetApp, the Fortune 500 storage and data management company, from 1994 to 2009, and as executive chairman from 2009 to 2014. Under Warmenhoven's leadership, NetApp grew to become a multibillion-dollar company and a recognized market leader in networked storage, a concept the company pioneered. Warmenhoven led the company's initial public offering in November 1995.
Warmenhoven has also received the Morgan Stanley Leadership Award for Global Commerce, was named one of the "50 Most Powerful People in Networking" by Network World in 2006, and won the prestigious National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2004.
