CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - February 25, 2016) - JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), the organizer of the Japan Pavilion at the International Home and Housewares Show (IH+HS), is pleased to have the opportunity to introduce the best of Japanese design and innovation for the fifth time at the world's premier housewares show, at Chicago's McCormick Place from March 5-8.

This is the fourth time that JETRO will organize two pavilions in order to accommodate the exhibitors and the vast array of products they have to offer. Visitors to both pavilions will be able to view firsthand, a variety of "Made in Japan" home goods items that combine traditional Japan, modern Japan, and the ancient culture of Japan. Products include everything from traditional kitchen knives, beautiful tableware, artisan glassware, and woodenware to modern products that apply advanced Japanese technology to bring you eco-friendly, stylish, smart gadgets and housewares.

DISCOVER DESIGN EXPO (North Building)
The North Pavilion (N8143) will feature unique design focused products in this new exciting expo. These exhibitors are carefully selected by the industry professionals, proudly presenting their products ranging from high-tech showerheads, wooden "Masu" boxes used for serving sake, dish cloths and towels made with fibers produced from binchotan and persimmon juice, easy clean bento boxes, storage containers to modern and yet functional home interior goods.
DINE + DESIGN EXPO (South Building)
The South Pavilion (S866) will feature "handmade" products including, traditional Japanese knives, glassware, and exquisite wood items made from Japanese Cypress. Other unique items include, colorful kitchenware, water faucets and purifiers, kitchen gadgets, wet wipes made of alkali electrolyzed water.
