Mazor Robotics' Renaissance(R) Guidance System Achieves New Clinical Milestone


ORLANDO, Fla., March 1, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mazor Robotics (www.mazorrobotics.com), a pioneer in surgical guidance systems for spine and brain surgery, announced today a new clinical milestone with the successful completion of over 150 complex spine cases, performed with the Renaissance® system, by Dr. Kornelis Poelstra, at Sacred Heart Hospital Emerald Coast in Florida.

This achievement complements Dr. Poelstra's ongoing work with the Mazor Robotics PROlat™ release. This technique may result in a shorter length of surgery, which is beneficial to the patient, the surgeon, and the hospital facility.
