SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - March 10, 2016) - Today, RocketSpace announced the launch of its new Innovation Collective, a consortium of curated innovation executives from top global corporations, dedicated to surfacing disruptions from around the world. Member companies including JetBlue, Michelin and Pfizer Consumer Healthcare will attend the first Innovation Collective Summit on April 5-6, 2016 at RocketSpace's tech campus in San Francisco.
The Summit's two-day interactive agenda will immerse Innovation Collective members in disruptive technology trends, expose them to leading startups and bring peers together with hands-on workshops to address key challenges in open innovation. The event will take place three times annually and center around four major disruption trends impacting large corporations: the future of consumer experience, communications, IoT and connectivity, and mobility and transportation. Speakers including prominent tech venture capitalist and entrepreneur Tim Draper, and Bill O'Connor, Innovation Strategist and Autodesk Innovation Genome Founder, will join members in a lively discussion and exchange of insights.
"This unique community is a valuable opportunity to connect with innovation-focused leaders across a diverse range of industries," said Bonny Simi, president at JetBlue Technology Ventures, and a member of the Innovation Collective. "RocketSpace is not only bringing us together but empowering us with the information and introductions needed to accelerate our initiatives."
The Innovation Collective moves beyond engaging corporate members with game-changing startups and other innovative corporations, to providing them with tactical toolkits for successful partnerships. This results-driven approach is geared to help corporate innovation professionals filter through the startup "noise" down to the loudest signals across industry verticals to help them build a continuous innovation roadmap.
"The cadence of innovation is accelerating across the tech sector, forcing corporations to adopt new strategies," said Duncan Logan, Founder and CEO of RocketSpace. "Even Fortune 500 companies need to be challenged to think bigger than themselves when it comes to innovation. Our goal is to not only connect and help inform this community, but to also shorten the path toward real business value."
The Innovation Collective is part of RocketSpace's suite of Corporate Innovation Services that help drive corporations to learn about, work like, and work with startups throughout the innovation process.
RocketSpace is still accepting new members to the Innovation Collective. Summit attendees will primarily be C-level executives leading innovation, product or technology, as well as corporate venture capitalists.
