South Bay Church is an upbeat, casual, and creative community, focused around Christianity. The solar installation at the North San Jose location is expected to be completed later this year in the fall and is estimated to save $74,000 annually. Vista Solar estimates that the solar solution, which is cash flow positive year 1, will be producing 307,815kWh year after year. According to the Environmental Protection Agency's calculation, that is the equivalent of 212 metric tons of carbon dioxide. To put that into perspective 212 metric tons is the equivalent to the carbon dioxide emitted from 23,884 gallons of gasoline!
