LOS ANGELES, March 20, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Century Veterinary Group would like to welcome Dr. Damian Levisman back to the practice. Dr. Levisman previously worked as a technician at the Los Angeles area clinic and has now returned to the staff as a veterinarian. Dr. Levisman graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine of Buenos Aires in 2004 and worked as a technician at Century Veterinary Group under the guidance of Dr. Jeff Werber. During this time, Dr. Levisman, already a veterinarian, studied for and received his license to practice in the U.S. and California. After a few years of living in Argentina with his wife, Dr. Levisman recently returned to the United States and was welcomed back to Century Veterinary Group.
Dr. Jeff Werber, chief veterinarian of Century Veterinary Group, was happy to welcome Dr. Levisman back to the practice when he returned to the United States after a three-year sojourn in Argentina. "Damian is a great man and an excellent veterinarian. I was very impressed with his skills and the care he showed for each and every animal in our care when he worked here as a veterinary tech. He worked very hard to gain his California veterinary credentials and we are fortunate to have him on our staff. We were deeply saddened when he returned to Argentina, but we are glad to have our friend and our colleague back with us now."
Dr. Levisman and the other veterinarians at Century Veterinary Group provide a full complement of animal medical care. The hospital offers routine wellness care including vaccinations, checkups, dental care, emergency/ urgent care, as well as additional pet-related services such as grooming, boarding, and pharmaceutical services.

Century Veterinary Group's extended hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sundays. "We believe this will be especially helpful to any of our pet parents who require urgent or emergency care on these days. We were previously closed on Sundays which meant that our clients who needed care had to wait until Monday or seek help elsewhere," said Dr. Werber.
