Caverion, SKB and Vattenfall extend the framework agreement for two nuclear power plants in Sweden
Caverion, SKB, Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company, and Vattenfall, one of Europe's largest generators of electricity, extend the framework agreement for the Ringhals and Forsmark nuclear power plants. The agreement for the years 2016-2018 covers the service areas of Design & Engineering, Project Execution, Technical Maintenance and Managed Services. The value of the contract is not disclosed.

The agreement includes the disciplines of Heating & Sanitation, Ventilation & Air Conditioning, Cooling, Electricity, Information and Communication Services, Automation, Industrial Installations and Process Piping. Vattenfall and SKB belong to Caverion’s industry client segment.
Vattenfall is a publicly owned energy company with approximately 28,000 employees. Forsmark and Ringhals are two of the largest nuclear power plants in Sweden and are situated in Uppland north of Stockholm and on the west-coast between Gothenburg and Malmo. Ringhals is the largest power plant in the Nordic countries and produces one fifth of the total amount of energy used in Sweden.
SKB is responsible for handling all the radioactive waste from nuclear power plants in Sweden in a safe way.
