ARLINGTON, Va., May 16, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is pleased to offer courses on Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Risk Management Process (RMP) Training. These training courses will position your in-house security staff to evaluate and establish an ISC compliant security posture for all of your facilities, as well as position your organization to be ahead of the ISC compliance initiative. The ISC is preparing teams to start compliance evaluations of all Departments/Agency headquarters functions followed by evaluations of federal facilities.
ARA's first three-day course will be held June 7-9, 2016 in Arlington, VA. ARA is pleased to announce we also offer a one-day course specifically designed for senior level executives and decision makers and a two-day course that includes a take home assignment which must be completed to receive full credit for the course. Please check the ARA website for a current list of all ISC courses offered by ARA.
As experts in physical security and ISC compliance, ARA recognizes training and education are important for ensuring ISC guidance is appropriately met and applied. As a result, ARA's ISC training series features definitions and explanations of how the ISC process functions with real-world scenarios and accurate ISC compliant policies.
Trainers for the workshop include ARA's Mark Strickland, Nancy Renfroe, Kenneth Colley, and James Brokaw; each, a highly skilled security professional with over 20 years of experience.
Last year, ARA developed the Office of Personnel Management's ISC Compliant Risk Management Tool (FSR-Manager). FSR-Manager is certified by the ISC Risk Assessment Data Tool Validation Review board and is the only tool developed outside of the Federal Government. Concurrently, ARA is the only company to provide ISC compliant Risk Management Process training.
