Dollar Bank Launches New Website: dollar.bank

PITTSBURGH, PA--(Marketwired - May 18, 2016) - Today Dollar Bank launched a new website. Features of the new site include:

• A responsive design that is compatible with all devices and adjusts according to the device being used (e.g. desktop, tablet, phone).
• Updated content to assist visitors in finding the right product, service or rate for their financial needs.
• Simple navigation so visitors can find the information they need quickly and easily.
• Ability to set up personalized options (e.g. location, personal, business) based on visitor preferences.
• A new section showcasing the Dollar Bank Heritage Center (located in the bank's historical Fourth Avenue Building in downtown Pittsburgh).

The website launched on the new .BANK domain at dollar.bank. Visitors to the previous URL (dollarbank.com) will be redirected to the new domain. .BANK is a more secure Internet domain for banks. It is an easily identifiable channel for trusted communications between banks and their customers. Dollar Bank is one of the original bank members to work with American Bankers Association to establish fTLD Registry Services, LLC to operate .BANK.**

Since the .BANK environment is exclusive to the banking industry, it provides a level of mandatory security, unmatched in the traditional .COM Internet environment. .BANK provides strict controls to help mitigate cybersecurity risk and allows Dollar Bank, and other banks, to better protect online visitors.

The Dollar Bank website launch will happen in phases, with all sections of the site transitioning over to the new format in the near future.
