QUOTES:
Attributed to General Frank J. Grass:
"In all the years I've served, I've never seen an organization that's served as many men and women in uniform as the USO. What they've done in the past 75 years is just incredible! For me, this trip has been an amazing opportunity to witness, first hand, the dedication of the men and women of the USO, and the celebrities, who volunteer their time to travel around the world to perform for our troops and thank them for their service and for our freedom. The USO team on this trip has brought smiles to our troops who are serving so far from home. I'm grateful for the USO!"
Attributed to J.D. Crouch, USO CEO and President:
It's always a privilege to work with Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This time around, getting the chance to partner with General Grass during our 75th anniversary year, as well as send out our very first National Guard USO tour is a profound honor. We can't thank everyone involved, including those stationed abroad, enough for their help in connecting our military members to the things they love most – family, home and country."
Attributed to Jerrod Niemann:
"Everything about this tour has been life changing, I've learned so much and met so many great people. From the moment we wake up to the moment we close our eyes at night, General Grass and the USO team have been amazing."
Attributed to Tim Kennedy:
"The only thing that matters is the person standing next to you. That is why you serve. That is why you are part of something special and rare. That is why I love the USO. It gives me an opportunity to spend time with my brothers and sisters in service."
Attributed to Sam Perkins:
"Meeting and spending time with the brave men and women who serve our country every day has been an unforgettable experience. I'd like to thank General Grass and the USO for organizing this tour that recognizes the sacrifice these service members and their families have made to protect us."
