On July 1st, the NC Symphony honors the birthday of the United States with a concert of patriotic favorites, high-spirited classics and closes with a fireworks show. The festivities held at Festival Park in downtown Fayetteville starts at 7 p.m. www.ncsymphony.org
July 3rd
Following an 7 p.m. game at J.P. Riddle Stadium, the Fayetteville Swampdogs launch a Tribute to Honor America fireworks show. The fireworks show is free, but game admission requires a ticket. www.GoSwampdogs.com
July 4th

Hope Mills marks the 4th of July with an Independence Day Parade at 10 a.m and a Party in the Park from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. The Party includes entertainment, games, food, tournaments, vendors and a fireworks show at dark. www.townofhopemills.com
Open to the general public, Fort Bragg's July 4th Celebration starts at 3 p.m. on the Main Post Parade field. Activities include some of today's hottest musical acts, parachute free-fall demonstrations, the popular flag ceremony, fireworks, and food and beverages. bragg.armymwr.com/
