Henriquez Partners Architects Awarded Lieutenant Governor of BC Medal

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 20, 2016) - Continuing its award-winning streak, TELUS Garden was recognized with a prestigious Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia Medal in Architecture. This medal recognizes excellence in completed architectural projects designed by BC Architects.

An expert jury acknowledged Henriquez Partners Architects to have shown excellence in creativity, context, sustainability, good business, and legacy. The award, administered by the Architectural Institute of BC, was accepted by the Henriquez Partners design team, on behalf of TELUS and Westbank Corp.

The development features 10,000 square feet of green roofs providing organic produce for local restaurants, two elevated roof forests, local artwork and light displays.
