Put the Boots to Hunger
July 8 - 17
Find out how your company or community Stampede breakfast and barbecue can be a part of this annual summer campaign. Add a food donation box, cash donation box, or even Food Bank volunteers to issue tax receipts. Simply complete the Stampede Event Booking Form (before Friday, June 24) or call us at 403-253-2059 today!

Pet Food Drive
June 4 - 11, a.m. to  3 p.m.
Lakeview Community Association - 6110 34 Street SW
Join Diane Smith, fellow Lakeview resident, in raising food and funds for Calgary Food Bank client's furry and feathered family members. Donations of unopened quality pet food will be collected. All monetary donations will go towards the purchase of wholesale pet food then distributed through the Calgary Food Bank.

Panel One Comic Creator Festival
June 4, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association - 1320 5 Ave NW
The Panel One Comic Creator Festival is a celebration and exhibition of homegrown Canadian comic creators and their work. Admission is only $5 or $2 with a non-perishable food donation. Kids 12 and under are free.

4-H on Parade
June 3, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
June 4, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
June 5, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Calgary Stampede, Agrium Building - 2050 Stampede Trail SE
4-H on Parade offers the Calgary Region 4-H youth the opportunity to show and compete with their projects. They will also be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Calgary Food Bank.

Hockey Night in Canada's Play On!
June 11 and 12 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
2330 - 96 Ave NE
Play On! is Calgary's largest street hockey tournament and this year the Calgary Food Bank is the charity of choice. Food and funds are being collected at the event.

City Palate's Culinary Race
June 11, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Calgary Farmers Market - 510 77 Ave SE
Bring your donations to this unique race event. 30+ Calgary restaurants and foodie destinations are participating and racers will be challenged and tested by clues at each spot. The race ends at Italian Centre Shop where great prizes and bragging rights will be dished out!

Doran House Band - Friends and Neighbour Day
June 18 - 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
TG Lounge & Thorncliffe Community Centre - 5600 Centre St N
Doran House Band will be supporting the Calgary Food Bank by collecting non-perishable food items at their Friends and Neighbor Day event.

Salopek's Run to Renew 10K Fundraiser
June 25 - 10 a.m . to 2 p.m.

Get your New Year's resolutions back on track and help the Calgary Food Bank at the same time! Purposefully scheduled half way through the year, during a time when donations are fewer and not at the forefront of people's minds, participants are invited to run and raise donations to help feed Calgarians in need. It is also an opportunity for participants to reflect on resolutions made in January and renew their commitment to living a more active lifestyle.
