INDIANAPOLIS, June 13, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DirectEmployers Association announced today that it received a Communicator Award of Distinction for Online Video Animation in the 22nd Annual Communicator Awards competition. Founded over two decades ago and hosted by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals and receives over 6,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers and design firms across the US and around the world each year.
Created by DirectEmployers Digital Design Coordinator, Drew Palmer, the winning video was a supplementary component of a marketing campaign for the Association's Recruitment Marketing Solutions. This short animated video, entitled Are You Satisfied with Your Career Site?, showed the journey many employers face when it comes to online recruitment challenges. The video then offered a solution to the unique, and often complex, struggles by showing how a fully customizable recruitment marketing platform could impact a recruitment strategy and give the employer total control of their career site, regardless of budget constraints.
The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current AIVA membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including: AirType Studio, Condè Nast, Disney, Keller Crescent, Lockheed Martin, Monster.com, MTV, rabble+rouser, Time Inc., Tribal DDB, Yahoo!, and many others.
