DALLAS, July 26, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- For the fifth year running, Associa, the industry's leading community management company, is a national sponsor for the largest crime and drug awareness event in the country – National Night Out (NNO).
Across all 50 states, NNO celebrates and promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our communities safer, better places to live. This year Associa plans to participate in close to 150 events coast-to-coast on Tuesday, August 2 and in Texas on October 4.
Through the Associa Supports Kids program, the company will be represented at many of the events nationwide, within Associa and non-Associa managed communities, encouraging stronger relationships among neighbors, communities and local law enforcement.

As a fifth year sponsor of National Night Out, Associa will be sending its loveable, kid-friendly mascot Scout to a number of locations. Hundreds of Associa employees will be personally volunteering and handing out items such as ChildPrint ID kits, Scout's Safety-Tips coloring books, inspirational wrist bands and other Associa Supports Kids items.
Associa Supports Kids is a value-added program for Associa community residents, designed to enhance the neighborhood community experience year-round.
