WESTBURY, NY--(Marketwired - August 15, 2016) - The versatile Spectroline® E-Series lamps feature corrosion-resistant, specular-aluminum reflectors to optimize UV irradiance. These compact, lightweight lamps can easily be carried to wherever they are needed, saving lab personnel trips to the darkroom to use a UV transilluminator.
All 254nm and 312nm models have exclusive LONGLIFE™ filter glass for higher initial UV transmission and maximum resistance to solarization.
The 365nm models are available with integrally filtered long-wave UV tubes (BLB) or unfiltered UV tubes (BL) with or without separate filter assemblies. Units with unfiltered tubes generate higher UV intensity. Double-tube units provide broader UV coverage than those with single tubes.
E-Series UV lamps are available in 30 different models, so technicians can select the best combination of UV wavelength (254nm, 312nm and/or 365nm), intensity, housing size and wattage for their specific application. Color-coded on/off switches, conveniently located at the top of the units, put irradiance control at your fingertips. All lamps include a removable carrying handle as well as optional stands (available separately) for hands-free operation.
