Federal Cannabis Production License Issued to the Green Organic Dutchman Ltd.

ANCASTER, ON--(Marketwired - August 17, 2016) - The Green Organic Dutchman Ltd. is pleased to announce it is now a Licensed Producer under the Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR).

Scott Skinner and Jeannette VanderMarel are the co-founders and owners of Health Canada's newly licensed cannabis farm in Hamilton Ontario. Scott Skinner will be managing operations as the President and Senior Person in Charge.

Jeannette's daughter Breanne passed away in 2003 as a result of a severe epilepsy disorder, very likely Dravet syndrome. Breanne was never given cannabis as reports of cannabis for seizure treatment weren't widely available at the time. "My hope is that cannabis medicines will help to reduce the devastating impact of seizure disorders," said Jeannette VanderMarel, a Registered Nurse.
