NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - August 25, 2016) - B&H is pleased to share Fujifilm's announcement of the X-A3 Mirrorless Digital Camera, in silver, brown, and pink. The X-A3 features a newly-developed 24.3MP APS-C CMOS sensor, which works in tandem with the EXR Processor II to produce sharp, high-resolution images in a variety of lighting conditions, using an expanded sensitivity range of up to ISO 25600. In addition to excellent performance in low light, a new electronic shutter capability works at speeds up to 1/32,000-second for shooting under bright sunlight with a large aperture. Increased focusing capabilities include up to 49-point focus areas in the Single Point mode, and a total of 77-point focus areas in Zone and Wide modes. In addition to stills, the X-A3 offers Full HD video recording at up to 60 fps.

The X-A3 continues in Fujifilm's trademark retro design to bring it into the modern age with a 180° tilting LCD touchscreen that is ideal for selfies. A Self Timer function provides three different modes that automatically release the shutter when a smile is detected, when two people come close together, or when a specified number of people join in for a group shot within the frame. Also, there is a Portrait Enhancer mode that brightens skin tones within images, adding to this camera's exceptional self-portrait capability. Additional film-simulation modes allow for a greater opportunity for creative shooting, while built-in Wi-Fi continues to allow for easy sharing, as well as remote control of the camera.

The new XF 23mm f/2 lens, available in black and silver, offers a 35mm equivalent focal length, proving to be another compact prime within the Fujifilm X lens lineup. This versatile 6.3 oz. lens offers silent and fast autofocus, perfect for portrait, street, and landscape photography. A nine-blade aperture creates smooth and circular bokeh. The XF 23mm features ten elements in six groups, with two aspherical elements for sharpness right up to the periphery, while Super Electron Beam Coating reduces flare and ghosting. Moisture-, dust-, and freeze-resistant, this lens is capable of operating at temperatures as low as 14°F.
