Woodbury Community Members Invited to Celebrate New HealthEast Clinic -- Woodwinds on Oct. 4

WOODBURY, MN--(Marketwired - September 26, 2016) - An open house featuring tours, refreshments and activities for both children and adults is being held to celebrate the new HealthEast Clinic -- Woodwinds, 1825 Woodwinds Drive in Woodbury on Tuesday, October 4, from 5 to 7 pm.

The clinic recently relocated from the Woodwinds Health Campus hospital building to the adjacent location, where Walk-In Care is available from noon to 8 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Providers specializing in allergies, audiology, ENT, podiatry, rheumatology and diabetes education are "co-located" side by side with primary care providers; clinicians and clinical assistants work together in the center of the clinic space.

"Things have gone really smoothly since we re-opened in August," said Ana Denkmann, manager of HealthEast Clinic -- Woodwinds. "The new space is quieter and more open for both staff and patients. It has a less clinical feel and the co-location of staff and clinicians helps us address patient questions and concerns in a more timely way. It also showcases the additional services we can provide: Ways to Wellness, rehab, Walk-In Care and cooking classes."
