TROY, Mich., Oct. 25, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DirectRx Pharmacy, a leading independent pharmacy accredited by URAC, ACHC, NABP and WBENC, has won a competitive bid for nebulizers and related supplies from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) under Round 1 2017 of the Medicare Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) competitive bidding program. The contract will apply from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2018.
Under the new CMS contract, DirectRx Pharmacy will supply nebulizer equipment and supplies for Medicare clients in Kansas City, Mo. and Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio and Union counties, Ind. DirectRx specializes in treating COPD and other respiratory conditions using integrated care and follow-up, as well as leading medications such as Brovana, Budesonide and Perforomist.
