OKEMOS, MI--(Marketwired - November 01, 2016) - In mid-October, nearly 5,000 people had an opportunity to tour six manufactured home models, including a park model, which the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association (MMHA) brought in to display at The Novi Home Show at Suburban Collection Showplace, Novi.
The association worked closely with manufacturers, retailers and communities to coordinate the arrival and set up of displays for the three-day consumer show. Skyline Homes had two multi-section homes, Champion Home Builders brought a multi-section and a single, as well as the Athens park model, and Clayton Homes had a multi-section on display. Each home was remarkably staged and furnished, emphasizing the quality, craftsmanship and high-end features customary with current manufactured homes.
"The Novi Home Show is an excellent venue to showcase the beauty and affordability of the homes," said Jerry Ruggirello of AJR Development and MMHA member. "Team members and representatives from manufacturers, communities and retailers were onsite to answer questions and give tours."
Multiple MMHA members -- AJR Development, Quality Homes, Meritus Communities/Michigan Home Zone, HomeFirst, Top Flite Financial and Little Valley Homes and MMHA set up booths in the home showcase area to make direct connections with the public.
MMHA sponsored an industry event for 100 association members and special guests who milled in and around the homes, enjoying appetizers and beverages prior to the public opening of The Novi Home Show.
"The success experienced at the MMHA Home Showcase demonstrates the increasing awareness and interest of manufactured homes," said MMHA director Darren Ing. "While it has been a while since the association coordinated such an event as the MMHA Home Showcase, it won't be the last."
MMHA is dedicated to educating the public about the benefits of manufactured and modular home living and connecting people interested in a finding a community or home with its members.
