TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - November 15, 2016) - Wishes for Olivia is proud to announce its 4th annual Princess Ball, taking place on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Liberty Grand Governor's Ballroom. The annual family-friendly charity gala raises money for Make-A-Wish Canada in memory of Olivia Grace White, who died suddenly at the age of 5. Tickets will be released for sale on November 22 and December 6 in addition to full table sponsorship opportunities.
Olivia, who died in her sleep on Boxing Day in 2012 of an undiagnosed blood infection, had a tender heart and a giving spirit, so her mother, Jennifer White, founded The Princess Ball in 2014 as a grand gesture to turn her tragedy into legacy. Proceeds raised through The Princess Ball and other Wishes for Olivia initiatives have supported 20 children getting their wish granted through Make-A-Wish Canada.
"Olivia will forever be in our hearts, and in her short life, she spoke of sharing a little magic with other children who might not have the opportunity to experience it," says Jennifer White, founder and organizer of the event. "Our goal is to grant at least 7 more wishes this year through Make-A-Wish Canada in Olivia's memory."
Hosted again by Boom 97.3's morning show host Stu Jeffries, The Liberty Grand Governor's Ballroom will be transformed into a French chateau for an event fit for Beauty and her Beast. With energetic entertainment and so many activities on-site, The Princess Ball is expected to be another visually stunning family-friendly event.
Sponsors and partners for the 2016 The Princess Ball include: Home Trust Company, NagataConnex, Marketers on Demand, Liquid Entertainment, Castle Bound, Michelle Fernandes Photography, Memory Tree, Photoworks, Tandem Studios, and SongBird Marketing Communications, with more to come.
