RiverMeadow Software & RISC Networks Extend Partnership to Seamlessly Lift & Shift Customers to AWS

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - November 16, 2016) - RiverMeadow Software® Inc., a leading provider of cross-hypervisor, Lift & Shift server migration, and RISC Networks®, LLC, the industry's leading provider of cloud discovery analytics, announced a strategic development to their existing partnership. The expanded relationship closely aligns sales efforts along side the capability to seamlessly pass server move-groups from RISC Networks' Cloudscape SaaS to RiverMeadow Cloud Migration SaaS to lift and shift businesses onto AWS.

Both the RiverMeadow and RISC Networks solutions are agentless, and SaaS delivered. RISC Networks' Cloudscape provides pre-migration assessment and planning automation that enables migration administrators to scan their network for a viewpoint of connected assets (servers). Selected servers are then placed in a move-group that are exported directly from RISC's Cloudscape platform and then imported to RiverMeadow's cloud migration platform. Then, with just a few button clicks, RiverMeadow SaaS automatically Lifts & Shifts servers onto a customer's AWS VPC. The result is a seamless and simplified migration path from customer's source data centers to their AWS VPCs.
