CHICAGO, March 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Associa Chicagoland Regional Director Charissa Ziobro, CMCA, AMS, will be a featured presenter at the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA) spring conference on April 8, 2017 at the Drury Lane Theatre and Conference Center in Oakbrook, Ill.
Ziobro's discussion is titled "Building the Bridge: Strengthening Partnerships Between Association Board and Vendors." Others participating in her presentation will be Chuck Schneider, president of Associa company Lincoln Hancock Restoration, Eddie Lidtke of Chaucer Insurance, Robert Prince from Chatt & Prince P.C., and Pamela Urso, board president for the Fountains on Carriageway condominium association.
"A positive working relationship between association boards and vendors is critical," says Ziobro. "It begins with a clear understanding of needs. There should be written expectations in order to compare apples with apples. All parties need to approve and buy into the contract which then becomes a step-by-step plan to be respected by all. That is the leadership Associa brings to the table with our clients."
Everyone on the panel led by Ziobro works together to ensure the Fountains on Carriageway is one of the most successful communities in the area. The discussion will use the example of a large fire that recently affected the community to showcase how positive relationships and teamwork can come together in a positive way during a tragedy.
Ziobro has been a valued member of the Associa Chicagoland team for nearly four years. Prior to her time with Associa, she was a property manager for seven years with another firm and also served as an administrative assistant for United State Fire Protection.
