Semtech will privately demonstrate the new chipset in its OFC booth (#2575) at the Los Angeles Convention Center March 21-23.

The high-performance chipset (GN1159 and GN1069) is a cost-efficient solution for 10G optical modules serving high-demand enterprise and wireless infrastructure applications.

The chipset is comprised of GN1159, a DML driver plus receiver-side limiting amplifier and GN1069 TIA. GN1159 offers highly flexible integrated digital diagnostic features, while GN1069 sets a new industry benchmark for receiver sensitivity and allows a flexible choice of photo diode and optical alignment tolerances.
