Scanship Holding ASA : Scanship Holding ASA's ongoing process regarding strategic alternatives


Reference is made to the stock exchange notice of 5 May 2017 in which Scanship Holding (the "Company") announced that it is in non-exclusive negotiations with a Bidder regarding the sale of all outstanding shares in Scanship AS and its subsidiaries in the US and Poland ("the Scanship Group").

The Board of the Company has now been informed by the largest shareholders that they will not support the sale of the Scanship Group on the terms offered. The transaction does not have the required shareholder support. The Board has on this basis resolved to terminate the negotiations with the Bidder.
