The upgraded center features the latest voice dispatch communications technology, including four Avtec Scout™ Internet Protocol (IP) dispatch consoles; an Avtec Mini SIP console – a hardware device that connects to the Scout infrastructure and controls up to four radio endpoints; and Avtec Ranger™ dispatch software, which runs on a Wi-Fi-enabled LTE tablet for disaster recovery and emergency situations.
