VIENNA, Va., June 14, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On June 1st, the Department of Defense (DoD) Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Information Management Division (IMD) awarded FTC a one-year prime contract to provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support for WRAIR. The WRAIR conducts biomedical research related to the delivery of life-saving knowledge, technology, and medical material that sustain the effectiveness of the Warfighter. FTC will conduct cyber security analysis for the WRAIR Chief Information Office and approximately 1,000 offline medical devices and systems that require security certification. Services will include validating the devices and systems requiring security certification and preparing security authorization packages that adhere to RMF policies and procedures. This strategic win extends FTC’s IT best practices to a new DoD customer while expanding FTC’s cyber security expertise.
On June 2nd, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) awarded FTC the Community Care Reimbursement System Development contract, a two-year, $47.9 Million set-aside task order under the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle. For this effort, FTC and its subcontractor Grant Thornton will follow an Agile software development methodology compliant with VA’s Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP) to design, deliver, and integrate a commercial off the shelf (COTS) claim invoice validation and reimbursement payment auditing system that centralizes claim activities and functions and simplifies data access, data storage, and data management capabilities. This task order solidifies FTC’s role as a key player in VA’s initiative to develop an integrated care delivery network that simplifies community care and enhances Veteran access to the best care.
Finally, on June 9, for its third win in just one week, FTC was awarded a three-year, $95.7 Million set-aside task order for Benefits, Appeals & Memorials (BAM) Program Management Office (PMO) and Technical Management Support Services for VA’s Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) under the Office of Information & Technology (OI&T). FTC and its subcontractors—Engility Corporation; Encore Services, LLC; M Powered Strategies; and Sprezzatura Management Consulting, LLC—will leverage a Lean-Agile framework to deliver project and program management services support for the BAM Portfolio. The BAM Portfolio is comprised of approximately 50 development programs and projects and sustainment activities across four work streams, including Veteran Centered Experience (VCE); Memorials Affairs, Benefits Integration and Education; and Veteran Benefits Management System (VBMS). This most recent award establishes the company’s role in providing comprehensive services in support of IT solution delivery at the VA. It also represents FTC’s 17th prime task order win on the T4NG contract, bringing FTC’s total contract awards on the vehicle to more than $490 Million.
FTC’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Vaseal Montgomery, stated that “through these landmark wins, FTC now has the opportunity to deliver cyber security support for the largest biomedical research facility administered by DoD and its critical medical devices and systems, to provide end-to-end support for VA’s control tower for IT solution delivery, and to work at the center of VA’s Community Care initiative to develop an integrated, high performing health care network. These wins are the result of nearly a decade of unwavering commitment to delivering reliable and secure solutions that support our nation’s Veterans and Warfighters. They also demonstrate the Government’s growing confidence in FTC as a trusted partner and key player in transformational health IT initiatives.”
