BOSTON, Nov. 02, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eze Software, a global provider of investment technology, has successfully concluded its fourth client conference, 2017 Eze Advance. Nearly 300 investment professionals from around the world attended the three-day event in Orlando, Fla., to discuss trends driving change in investment operations, explore practical solutions, and network with peers.

Eze Software unveiled details on Eze Eclipse, its next-generation native cloud investment workflow platform, during its “Reimagining the Investment Process” keynote. The born-in-the cloud holistic investment lifecycle management platform joins Eze Investment Suite, Eze Software’s established front-to-back investment workflow solution, in Eze Software’s lineup of offerings. Eclipse so far has been adopted by nearly 20 emerging managers, with more in the pipeline. Conference attendees got a chance to test Eze Eclipse and provide feedback at the Demo Kiosk and the UX Lab.
The conference featured more than 25 sessions, including panels on operational due diligence and optimizing operational alpha; trade analytics and best execution; cybersecurity; preparation for SEC audits; and factor-based modeling. There were also spotlight presentations on MiFID II, artificial intelligence, trends in trading, and more, and attendees dove deeper into the issues at subsequent peer roundtables. Eze Software experts also delivered step-by-step demonstrations of critical workflows across Eze Investment Suite.
The conference featured five keynote presentations. Michael Fastert of TIG Advisors delivered the industry keynote, while Davis Smith, CEO of Cotopaxi, and Frank Abagnale, author of ‘Catch Me If You Can,” focused on the broader issues of sustainability and fraud prevention, respectively.
