With more than 25 years of experience leading finance organizations during stages of high growth, Kinion joins Upwork to oversee the finance team, including analytics, planning and accounting. Most recently, Kinion spent time at Marketo leading the finance organization as their CFO, where he was responsible for global financial planning and reporting, investor relations and driving processes behind the company’s growth. Kinion is currently a member of the Board of Directors and serves as the Audit Committee Chair at Marin Software, Inc.

He began his career as an auditor at KPMG and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA with a finance concentration from St. Mary’s College of California.
