DENVER, Colo., Jan. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A comprehensive selection of Spanish language workshops is available to education professionals and advocates attending the 2018 Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference (RMECC) March 16-17 at the Colorado Convention Center. In partnership with CREA Results, on-site translation services will be provided during the keynote presentations Friday and Saturday as well as for additional sessions on both days. CREA team members also will be on hand throughout the conference to answer questions and Spanish interpreters will be available upon request for any session that is being offered in English only.
A goal of RMECC 2018 is to foster relationships among all childcare providers and to strengthen the quality of childcare available in the Rocky Mountain region. Spanish language workshops are scheduled in many of the conference’s professional development tracks, including Child Development & Learning; Child Physical Health, Safety & Nutrition; Inclusive Practices & Multicultural Principles; Family & Community Partnerships; Leadership Management & Administration; Mindfulness & Self Care; and Teaching Practice, Literacy & STEAM.
In addition to his Saturday keynote address (“Inspiring Yourself, Children & Profession”), Enrique “Hank” Feldman will conduct several workshops in Spanish. An artist, educator and entrepreneur, Feldman is the founder of the Global Learning Foundation and an accomplished composer and performer twice nominated for a Grammy Award. His workshop topics at RMECC 2018 will include “Artistic Storytelling & Bias,” “Re-Imagining Literacy: Thinking Like DaVinci,” “Healthy Habits of Mind & Body,” and “Intellectual Purpose Jam.”
