Zurich, Switzerland, Jan. 09, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Corum Group International, the leading global software M&A advisory firm, announced today the sale of two European clients with cutting-edge 3D technology. Visual Components was acquired by KUKA AG, and Stabiplan was acquired by Trimble.
Visual Components, based in Finland, develops software solutions for 3D simulation in factory planning. They will be folded into KUKA Robotics, a leading manufacturer of industrial robots. Visual Components’ simulation capability will be added to the KUKA product portfolio as a vital component of the design the factory of the future.
Stabiplan, based in the Netherlands, develops 3D Computer Aided Design and Engineering (CAD/CAE) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology for the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) industries in Europe. Stabiplan's solutions include Stabicad software for Revit and AutoCAD, and the MEPcontent BIM content library. The additions complement Trimble’s existing products for the European MEP market.
