Morgan Hill, CA, Jan. 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MEDIA ADVISORY:

WHEN: Jan. 23-Jan. 25, 2018

WHERE: OpenADR Member Pavilion booth No. 2453 in the main hall of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX

WHAT:

  • The OpenADR Alliance, a nonprofit corporation created to foster the development, adoption and compliance of the Open Automated Demand Response (OpenADR) standard, helps utilities manage the growing pool of distributed energy resources (DER), which includes renewable energy, energy storage, demand response and electric vehicle charging. The OpenADR standard supports communications to all DER resources to manage changes in load shape, energy inputs and power characteristics of DER assets.

  • In the OpenADR Alliance booth, No. 2453, exhibiting members will showcase their perspectives on innovative programs, solutions, and developer resources based on the OpenADR standard for automated demand response. Additionally more than 20 members will be showcasing smart grid solutions throughout the exhibition.

WHO: The following member companies will be co-exhibiting in the OpenADR Alliance booth:

  • BPL Global:  to showcase Connected Energy™ a high-definition (HD) Demand Management solution for Residential Direct Load Control (DLC), Smart Thermostat control, DER control, and Irrigation Load Control with OpenADR interoperability.

  • Greenlots: is powering the future of mobility by providing next-generation EV charging technology and solutions.  We will be showcasing our cloud-based network-operating platform (SKY™), which brings together EV charging fleet optimization, load management, and grid integration capabilities into a scalable, secure, and configurable solution.

  • Gridwiz:  a leader in energy management will be showcasing over 600MWh capacity of DR (Demand Response) and 65MWh ESS (Energy Storage System).  In 2018, Gridwiz is planning to operate PMS (Power Management System) over 650MWh ESS (Energy Storage System).

  • Kyrio/Digicert: are working to incorporate enterprise-grade security in IoT devices while maintaining a simple process for ease of design for embedded systems. To help make the future of smart cities, smart grids and DER more efficient and secure, our reference platform implements certificate-based authentication into connected devices without requiring a security expert on-hand. Come to one of our 30-minute sessions at the OpenADR booth to learn more:
    • 1/23: Noon - 12:30pm & 4:30 - 5pm
