MEDIA ADVISORY: Welcome to Canada! Rescued dogs to land in Toronto after being saved from a South Korean dog meat farm

News outlets invited to attend arrival of rescued dogs at Pearson International Airport Tuesday night


TORONTO, March 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Media are invited to Pearson International Airport on Tuesday, March 13th to witness the arrival of 18 dogs rescued from a South Korean dog meat farm. In total, more than 80 dogs rescued from this facility will be transported to Canada this month. Representatives with Humane Society International/Canada will be on hand to field questions about the rescue and the campaign to end the dog meat trade.

HSI/Canada staff participating in the farm closure will be available for phone or email interviews from South Korea March 12th-14th.
