TUSTIN, Calif., March 28, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Prentice School, a private, nonprofit academic school, which offers unparalleled learning experiences to students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, anxiety, and visual processing and executive function disorders, is asking supporters to join them for their upcoming gala event, themed Education Reimagined, One Child at a Time on April 14, 2018 at the Newport Beach Country Club.

Prentice is also honored to have Andy Russell, Founder and CEO of Trigger Media, as its keynote speaker. From an early age, Mr. Russell knew he was different but didn’t fully understand how or why and he became determined to prove to himself that his differences were a positive. He tapped into his different way of thinking, solving problems, and through sheer determination has built over 50 successful companies. Mr. Russell, who himself struggles with dyslexia, ADHD, Tic disorder and OCD, will speak to why a Prentice education is so important for students who learn differently.
In addition, Bree Betourné, a Prentice alum and accomplished opera singer, will perform a selection by Franz Lehar and Giacomo Puccini. To cap off our event, The Prentice School will have a command performance by Gregory Page whom Jason Mraz calls “The real deal, a rare gift.” A self-described young daydreamer who found academics insufferable, this London-born recording and international touring artist is acclaimed as one of the most important singer-songwriters today. Gregory Page’s extensive discography has taken him around the world many times over as he captures life through the lens of music with timely and timeless lyrics.
Set to start at 5:30 p.m., the gala offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities for individuals and corporations who are interested in making a difference. Event sponsorships range from $1,000 to $30,000 and offer an array of benefits, including premium table locations and sponsorship recognition at the event and on the gala website. Individual tickets are priced at $250 and early RSVP is advised as the event is expected to sell out.
