Minneapolis, MN, USA, April 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- United Language Group (ULG), one of the largest language solutions providers in the world, has been awarded a quarter of a million-dollar grant by Enterprise Ireland Innovation Partnership Programme to continue the work of its Neural Machine Translation (NMT) technology research and development team in its Galway Office in collaboration with NUI Galway.
This subsidy, the second neural machine translation research and development grant awarded to ULG this quarter, will allow the world-class language solutions provider to continue building best-in-class translation automation solutions to create a world in which language is no longer a barrier.
The funds will augment ULG’s neural research and development work on an innovative machine translation solution that will differentiate ULG from commercial solutions that are not tailored for specific industries or organizations.
“This award significantly advances ULG’s ongoing effort to continue to build world-class language solutions and drive the evolution of NMT to make it more usable for the clients that we work with,” said ULG President Kristen Giovanis.
The Enterprise Ireland Innovation Partnership Programme is a non-commercial organization that helps Irish companies achieve global success, supporting sustainable economic growth, regional development and secure employment by working in partnership with Irish enterprises to help them start, grow, innovate and win export sales in global markets.
The Enterprise Ireland Innovation Partnership Programme is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under Ireland’s European Structural and Investment Funds Programmes.
