The panel will highlight practical innovations and solutions for maintaining an organizational Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) for improved patient data integrity.
Joining Podczervinski, RHIA, on the “EMPI and Patient Matching” panel are Shahzad Ahmad, Vice President of Cloud Operations and Delivery with NextGate, and Steve Kotyk, Director of Healthcare Business Development for ARGO Data Resource Corporation. The panel will be moderated by renowned health IT thought leader Shahid Shah and takes place on May 31 from 1:30-2:15 p.m.
In addition to providing tips for managing patient matching, panelists will focus on the challenges associated with properly maintaining an EMPI, how to avoid pitfalls that may create roadblocks to interoperability and best practices for ensuring the integrity of patient data.
