Here are a few tips for getting around Banff National Park:
- Take the Park and Ride to Lake Minnewanka, departing every 30 minutes starting at 8 a.m., with stops at Cascade Ponds, Two Jack Lake campgrounds and day use area
- Reserve your seat on On-It Regional Transit to travel between Banff and Calgary for only $10 each way; riders receive a free transfer to Roam Transit
- Use Roam Public Transit Service for easy access to Banff Hot Springs, Banff Gondola, Rimrock Hotel, Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls Viewpoint, Tunnel Mountain Campground and Cave & Basin National Historic Site
- Visit Johnston Canyon, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake on Banff National Park Shuttles
- Walk the pedestrian-friendly Woonerf along Bear, Wolf and Caribou Streets and visit art galleries, restaurants, retail stores and coffee shops at your own pace
- Purchase your Park Pass in advance to access the drive through lane at the east entrance
