LAS VEGAS, NV, June 28, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Major Series of Putting (MSOP) today announced that the 2018 MSOP Tour will soon launch its next three markets: Chicago, Montreal, and Toronto. These qualifiers offer participants from all walks of life an opportunity to earn their way to compete in the MSOP Championships in Las Vegas in October 2018.
After successful qualifier events in Jacksonville and Houston earlier this month, 16 competitors have earned their spots in the MSOP Championships. These participants will putt in Vegas for a chance to win hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money.
“We are excited to bring the MSOP experience to more markets,” said President & General Manager Guillaume Béland. “The Tour provides the opportunity for avid golfers to embark on a journey that can bring them to Las Vegas to compete for life-changing purses.”
MSOP launched the Tour this year as a qualifier system to the MSOP Championships in Las Vegas, creating a play-your-way to Vegas pathway across the country. Each market will provide local events that lead to a regional final, where spots to the MSOP Championships are up for grabs.
