IRVINE, Calif., July 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, fundraising, marketing and analytics solutions for college athletics, today announced that the Georgia Tech Athletic Association has extended its 34-year partnership with the company. Georgia Tech athletics will continue leveraging Paciolan’s industry-leading ticketing system, Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing automation solutions. Georgia Tech athletics has been a Paciolan partner since 1984.
Georgia Tech athletics will continue to leverage Paciolan’s ticketing system to efficiently sell and deliver tickets in real-time at RamblinWreck.com. Fans are able to access intuitive ticketing features on their mobile devices, including pick-your-own seat maps and account management tools. Using their smart phones, fans have the ability to view account history, purchase tickets, donate tickets, transfer tickets, and enter venues by scanning their device. Additionally, Paciolan’s student ticket functionality has allowed Georgia Tech to customize the student experience, leading to 100% mobile purchase and delivery of student tickets.
“We are pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with Paciolan,” said Todd Stansbury, director of athletics at Georgia Tech. “The integrated and innovative tools that Paciolan provides, such as targeted upsell opportunities and sophisticated CRM capabilities, allow us to extend our brand, service our fans, and personalize our product to the Georgia Tech fan base.”
The Institute will integrate with Ballena Technologies, a Paciolan company, to create virtual venues and integrated seat relocation management systems for football at the 55,000-seat Bobby Dodd Stadium and men’s basketball at McCamish Pavilion. Men’s basketball season ticket holders will virtually preview seat views during their seat selection process later this year. Utilizing the Seats 3D technology improves the online consumer experience for Yellow Jackets fans. Customers will have the ability to preview sightlines of the field or court before purchasing tickets via a pick-your-own seat map, fully optimized for desktop or mobile devices.
“Paciolan’s understanding of college athletics has enabled us to increase our sophistication with how we interact with our fans and grow those relationships,” said Mike Castle, assistant athletics director for sales and ticket operations at Georgia Tech. “Through Marketing Automation and Salesforce CRM, we have customized the way in which we talk to fans.”
The Institute has effectively worked with the FanOne Salesforce team to provide qualified call lists to their Sales and Retention staffs. These lists go beyond ticket sales, as they have empowered their sales team to pursue new gift donors and donations. With marketing automation, Georgia Tech provides fans with Personalized URLs, providing their core customers a unique experience by dynamically populating content and informational unique to them.
Paciolan is a dedicated revenue partner and brings new distribution opportunities, integrating with strategic partners including StubHub and Groupmatics to get more tickets into the hands of Georgia Tech fans. Paciolan’s partnership with StubHub enables Yellow Jackets season ticket holders to sell tickets in a secure and intuitive environment. StubHub’s presence as the world’s largest ticket marketplace combined with the primary ticketing capabilities of Paciolan provides an unrivaled integrated primary and secondary ticketing solution.
Groupmatics, an online group ticket sales platform, not only helps manage groups of Yellow Jackets fans, but also enables Georgia Tech athletics to identify specific members within a group to increase revenue opportunities. Groupmatics has helped Georgia Tech reach more than 5,000 new fans over the course of the partnership, with many of these fans now serving as group leaders and new season ticket holders. Additionally, the partnership has enabled Georgia Tech to capture information for one of every 3.1 tickets sold within a group, well above the industry standard.
“For more than 34 years, we have worked to continually enhance the experience of Georgia Tech fans,” said Paciolan President and CEO Kim Damron. “We are excited to continue to work together to raise the bar for fan experience and revenue generation opportunities with Georgia Tech’s innovative program.”
