LANCASTER, N.Y., Aug. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ecology and Environment Engineering, P.C. (E & E) has been awarded the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York) Gold Engineering Excellence Award in the Environmental category. The prestigious award recognizes E & E’s work for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation (NYSOPRHP) to enhance an existing wetland and increase educational opportunities for park visitors in the Red House area of Allegany State Park in Salamanca, New York.
E & E designed a recreational boardwalk, bird blind, observation platform, walking trails, and wetland enhancements through invasive species removal and interpretive planting installation in Allegany State Park, New York’s largest state park, located in a heavily forested portion of Cattaraugus County.
