NEW YORK, Aug. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NetworkNewsAudio - NetworkNewsAudio (NNA), a NetworkNewsWire (NNW) solution that delivers clients unparalleled visibility, recognition and brand awareness in the investment community, today announces the online availability of its interview with Auscrete Corporation (OTC: ASCK), a client of NNW engaged in the construction of “green” housing and commercial structures built from their lightweight hybrid concrete/insulation wall and roof panels.
The interview can be heard at http://nnw.fm/MBZ7b
NNW’s Stuart Smith introduces Auscrete’s CEO John Sprovieri and guest Jackie Wentz in an interview that highlights the company’s innovative technology, milestones and initiatives in affordable building construction, and how it plays a role in loss prevention amid natural disasters like the California wildfires.
Auscrete uses proprietary technology to produce material that is a hybrid of insulated specialty concrete and can be cast in large panels that are highly energy efficient, easy-to-handle, and may be economically transported for construction at the building site which may be up to a 1,000-miles away. The company is expanding into Goldendale, Washington where it is constructing its new Flagship Production Facility which has the capacity to build 300 homes per year at full output.
Wentz, who previously played a role in the construction of Auscrete’s building products, discusses the future potential for the company’s technology amid natural disaster. After personally experiencing the wildfires in Redding, California, Wentz sees heightened need and opportunity for Auscrete to set up distribution and construction in California, which is less than 1,000 miles from the Washington plant. She notes that, though Auscretes’ building materials are low maintenance and highly resistant to insects and mold, they are also exceptionally resistant to fire.
Wentz says that with the number of fires currently burning throughout California, as well as the devastation that destroyed over 5% of housing last year in Santa Rosa, “The idea of the insulated concrete home is such a wonderful idea … If more people had this type of home, we maybe wouldn’t have quite the destruction we are having.”
She also sees advantages in all areas subject to dramatic weather events, such as coastal regions that could benefit from Auscrete’s materials that are resistant to damage by flooding, high winds and pest infestations.
“It’s a fabulous thing if you can build your home out of something this strong, this indestructible …,” she states in the interview.
In discussing international growth and scaling, Sprovieri describes Auscrete’s ongoing discussions with a Canadian group out of Ontario, Canada, regarding funding for expansion in the area to meet shortage demands and enormous need for affordable housing. A plant in that location will also provide the opportunity to export to the northeastern region of the United States.
Additionally, Sprovieri says that the Canadian Government is interested in the possibility of building an additional plant in Cuba.
Concluding the interview, Sprovieri indicates that based on its conservative projection for annual revenues of $45 million at a 300-home production level, the future looks promising for Auscrete.
