NEW YORK, Aug. 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LifeSci Partners today announced the launch of its newest division, LifeSci Strategic Partnering and Analytics, focused on supporting partnering and strategic consulting activities for clients exclusively within the life sciences. Strategic partnering activities encompass facilitating in- and out-licensing transactions, R&D collaborations, as well as other strategic partnerships. The analytics arm of the division will deliver primary and secondary market research and financial analyses to assist companies in understanding and effectively articulating asset value propositions to investors and strategic partners, and also guide internal development and capital allocation decisions. LifeSci Strategic Partnering and Analytics will be led by managing directors Michael Cozart and Jason Laffin who bring over 20 years of industry experience and will be supported by LifeSci’s staff of scientific and business professionals. Mr. Cozart and Mr. Laffin have advised on over 20 strategic transactions, including recently advising BeneVir BioPharm on their $1.04 billion acquisition by Janssen in June 2018, which included a $140M upfront payment.
