Jefferson has used training and education materials from Busing on the Lookout (BOTL) to train all employees. Equipped with the BOTL training, Jefferson will have direct impact within 14 states, and over 180 communities. Of these, Jefferson has already played a crucial role in rescuing two victims of human trafficking.

Busing on the Lookout (BOTL) recognizes that members of the bus industry are in a critical position to provide an extra set of eyes and ears for law enforcement in recovering victims and arresting traffickers. In the past 10 years, the National Human Trafficking Hotline has received 1,587 calls from Minnesota, involving over 400 victims.
