ENT and Allergy Associates Welcomes Otolaryngologists Hollin E. Calloway, M.D. and Anthony P. Alessi, M.D.

Expected to Begin Seeing Patients in Q1 2019 in Hoboken, NJ and Hauppauge, NY respectively

Calloway, M.D. and Anthony P. Alessi, M.D. With their joinder, ENTA will now number over 205 physicians, a combination of Otolaryngologists and Allergists, across its substantial New York/New Jersey footprint, the largest such concentration of sub-specialists in the nation.
Dr. Calloway will begin serving patient needs full-time in ENTA’s Hoboken office, located at 79 Hudson Street, Suite 303, Hoboken, NJ 07030, as of January 1, 2019. Dr. Alessi will begin treating patients full- time at ENTA’s Hauppauge office on Long Island (located at 2929 Expressway Drive North, Suite 225, Islandia, NY 11749) as of September 1, 2019.
Dr. Hollin Calloway, an artist at heart, is an Otolaryngologist and Facial Plastic Surgeon specializing in diseases related to the ears, nose, and throat. She received undergraduate degrees in Fine Arts and Mathematics from Dartmouth College, and her Medical Degree from the UNC – Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at the Stanford University School of Medicine and completed her fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California at Irvine. She has held many leadership positions, authored book chapters, has been featured in many publications, and has spoken at national and international meetings for projects in both ENT and facial plastic surgery.
Born and raised in Long Island, Dr. Alessi joins ENTA after completing his internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Alessi completed his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a major in Biology. He then went on to complete his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine where he graduated first in his class.  Dr. Alessi treats all Ear, Nose and Throat disorders in children and adults.  Throughout his training, he has been awarded for his dedication to clinical care and has presented his research at national meetings. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
