Scroll deploys second blockchain network to support Aster Network for supply chain
NEW HAVEN, Conn., Oct. 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today Scroll, creators of the first blockchain data storage and management platform, announced the deployment of their second blockchain network to support their Aster Network for Supply Chain, which was released in September. The Osier blockchain protocol uses Scroll’s main net type Aster to support functionality and cross-reference features that are essential for productivity.
Processing the paper/digitized paper trail is costly and time consuming and dependent on manual data storage and handling. Untrustworthy data used in business processes can lead to unauthorized activity and unmet project requirements. Neither machine nor end users have the capability to determine the accuracy of the data governing any given process. Blockchain has the ability to provide incontrovertible data integrity through an accessible closed secure network.
The Scroll network significantly reduces:

The Osier side chain was created to limit the processing power needed for transactions specific to supply chain customers. Without Osier, migration to Scroll’s Aster Network for Supply Chain would be limited as there would only be one supported blockchain ecosystem governing a specific consensus model.
