NEW YORK, Dec. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via OTC PR WIRE – HempAmericana, Inc. (OTC: HMPQ) (“HempAmericana” or the “Company”) is excited to announce the installation of a new high-precision Solvent Recovery Machine into the core processing and extraction equipment line at its state-of-the-art CBD production facility in Augusta, Maine.
HempAmericana CEO, Salvador Rosillo, stated, “We are moving toward our goal of full-scale production of 99% pure CBD at high-capacity. We believe we have the capability of assuming a leadership role in this $2.1 billion industry over the next several quarters, and this new equipment represents one of the final pieces of the puzzle in achieving that goal.”
With its new equipment engaged, the HempAmericana processing facility will have the means to cool biomass material and ethanol to a sub-zero level, slowing the solvency of ethanol and eliminating its ability to bind with water-based components, enabling the Company to process multiple batches each day, maximizing quality of concentrate and total output of CBD.
“This is another extremely important step in the process of the Extraction cycle,” continued Mr. Rosillo. “This machine will meticulously separate out oils from within the biomass and set up the final process of distillation.”
Management notes that OEM technicians are currently on site, aiding in the initial installation, setup, and on-boarding process to assure a seamless integration of this new technology into the HempAmericana plant workflow ecosystem.
The Company has already ordered and paid for a Distillation Machine that will be added to the end of the production line, completing the capital equipment needed to bring industry-leading CBD products to the marketplace at a high volume.
