MILTON, Wis., Dec. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Diamond Assets, a technology trade-up partner specializing in Apple hardware, announced the hiring of Christopher McLean as vice president of product sales, and Cary Smith as national enterprise account executive.
McLean is an 18 year sales veteran with experience leading organizations to significant sales and opportunity growth. He is tasked with creating and maintaining relationships with Diamond Assets’ robust channel of direct e-commerce platforms, national retail chains, wholesalers and international markets.
McLean joins Diamond Assets from Demco, Inc. of Madison, Wis., a library supply distributor, where he was executive director of sales. At Demco, he led a sales team of 30 executives. Prior to Demco, McLean was director of sales at The Douglas Stewart Company, Madison, Wis., a distributor of educational technology products and school supplies. McClean earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. He resides in Sun Prairie, Wis.
Smith has nearly 20 years of sales experience in the K-12 and enterprise markets. At Diamond Assets he is tasked with helping business customers capture the residual value in their used Apple equipment.
Smith joins Diamond Assets from Tech to School, where he served as director of business development. He also has held sales roles with companies including Safari Montage, Learning.com, Scantron and Apple, Inc. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from American InterContinental University.
