HOUSTON, March 26, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Security Service Federal Credit Union, one of the top 10 credit unions in the U.S. and the largest in Texas, has partnered with Cardtronics to manage its entire ATM footprint of nearly 120 ATMs spread across Texas, Colorado and Utah. Cardtronics will acquire Security Service’s entire ATM fleet, replacing many with units that offer the latest technology while delivering an enhanced user interface, increased security measures and improved overall experience.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, Security Service Federal Credit Union was founded in 1956 to serve members of the U.S. Air Force Security Service Command. The credit union today provides financial services to approximately 774,000 members and operates a wide range of ATM devices, including exterior drive-up and through-the-wall machines. Under its ATM Managed Services Agreement, Cardtronics will own and fully operate each of these ATMs, including providing cash management and delivery, ATM maintenance and updates, transaction processing, monitoring and all other services required to maintain the highest possible ATM availability, compliance and security.
