Lice Clinics of America to Host Fourth Annual “Egg Hunt” Nationwide

Participating clinics across the U.S. to provide free head lice screenings and treatments the Saturday before Easter weekend

Salt Lake City, April 08, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lice Clinics of America®, the world’s largest network of urgent care clinics for lice treatment and prevention, will be helping families find eggs of a different kind this Easter season, during the organization’s fourth annual Great Lice Egg Hunt. On Saturday, April 13, at select clinics throughout the U.S., Lice Clinics of America will be working with community organizations to offer free screenings and free treatments to help families get rid of pesky head lice and their eggs with the clinic’s fast and effective AirAllé technology.

“We look forward to hosting our annual Great Lice Egg Hunts each year because it is a playful way for us to help remove the negative stigma about head lice and dispel myths about how they spread,” said Dr. Krista Lauer, Medical Director of Lice Clinics of America. “In addition to providing free services, we will be educating families about the lice life cycle, how they spread, and the best prevention and treatment options. We’ll also give away free Easter goodies, detection combs, and lice education packets.”

Lice Clinics of America’s annual Great Lice Egg Hunt demonstrates the company’s commitment to helping families, schools and organizations prevent and treat lice in the most convenient and effective ways. Lice Clinics of America, with 330 clinics in 35 countries, exclusively offers the FDA-cleared AirAllé medical device treatment that kills lice and 99.2 percent of their eggs in as little as one hour without harmful pesticides.

“Easter is a time for family gatherings such as barbecues and traditional egg hunts, and lice can be unwelcome guests,” says Claire Roberts, CEO of Lice Clinics of America. “Our fourth annual Great Lice Egg Hunt gives us an opportunity to give back to the communities we serve by providing free screenings and treatments, so no one’s Easter gets spoiled by finding “unwanted eggs” in their children’s hair.”

Free treatments will be offered by appointment only. Visit https://www.liceclinicsofamerica.com/egghunt for a list of participating clinics and call the one nearest you for details.
